NewSong’s Faithful — released in March by Integrity Music is the highly anticipated 13-song collection produced by Nathan Nockels (Chris Tomlin, Passion) and was recorded live, in-the-round at the band’s home church in suburban Atlanta, Georgia.
When a music career spans more than 30 years, 18 studio albums and 20 #1 radio singles and launches one of the biggest tours in the world, it almost defies explanation. After all, how does one account for multi-generational appeal and relevance in today’s constantly changing culture? The title track, co-written by NewSong front man Russ Lee and All Sons & Daughters’ David Leonard and Leslie Jordan, plays out in testament to God’s faithfulness to all generations. “’You Are Faithful’ is just a great opportunity for us to focus on the fact that we are alive only because God is faithful,” Lee shares. “He has never wavered in his devotion to us, and He never will.”
