Wow this is what I’ve been searching for. A genuine worship leader that is free of all the trappings of this world. John’s passion and focus on God’s Word is so evident.

You may not remember me, but I worked at Goad Int’l /Giving Hope and when I met you I knew you were destined to make great songs of worship. I regret I never got an opportunity to let you and Shelly know how much you were missed..

Hi, its so wonderful to worship with you, it lifts my spirit and i dont know when i get lost in His Presence. Thank God for His gift to you and the way you are using it to bring people closer to Him. I have to listen to the download over and over cos i cant get anough. I hope you’re still doing this cos i have not seen anything of 2008 yet. God bless you for your good works.

Fred! I just downloaded the iTunes and the podcast. It is almost 2am here and I am listening to you begin to get into His presence at 6am one morning. You continue to find unchartered ways to take us into God’s throne room. God is and always has been calling His people to where He is… “Up Higher”… and to those of us who find it difficult to find our way there… God is using you to pioneer those paths. You continue to be a blessing and I thank you for opening up your heart!

I thank God that you have been able to take all of these resources, not least your gifts, talents and passion and love for the Lord and bring them together to bless others.
I don’t have an ipod but was able to download the necessary programs on my computer and watch your podcasts and find the radio stations – I’ve emailed links to friends and family who are involved in worship and think they also will appreciate this site.

Also thanks for sharing so honestly and openly your very private moments with God.

Heaveno (rather than hello)

I’m (David) not sure when we downloaded this videocast, “Free”, but it sure hit the spot with me. Shelly Stark died today. She was a great friend. The Lord was kind enough to use my wife, Angela, and I to witness to her. So many resist the Lord when they have so much to praise Him for. Shelly on the other hand Didn’t complain at this stage in her life about anything; not about being sexually molested by her Uncle as a child, surviving a brain anurism, enduring daily kidney dialysis and much more that many can’t fathom enduring. But, she heard and obeyed the Gospel. She was just baptized three months ago. Shelly Stark is proof that God deserves all the glory for anyone coming to Him. Yes we weep when our believing loved ones pass away, but we know they are finally free.

We found out today just after we had finished listening to Aritha Franklin sing at Rosa Parks funeral on “Democracy Now!”, another of our favorite podcasts. We have been meaning to send you folks our love. The praise music has been much appreciated.
